Getting started
How to begin
How do I register?
Click “Register your clinic”, enter your clinic name, your name and email. Confirm your account and enter onboarding. No credit card required.
How long does setup take?
Onboarding has three steps: clinic details, services and inviting your team. Most clinics start working in about 5 minutes.
Can I migrate existing patients?
Yes. You can import patients and services from a CSV file in settings. The system walks you through a dry-run preview before saving.
Do I need training?
Not required. The interface is straightforward; the site tour shows the workflow. For questions, email support@dentord.com — we reply the same business day.
Pricing
Free period, cards and billing
What does “free until Dec 31, 2026” mean?
You sign up and use the full Professional plan at no charge through 2026. No credit card required. AI, SMS/WhatsApp and the patient portal are not part of the free period.
Do I need a credit card?
No. Registration and use during the free period do not require a card.
What happens when billing starts?
From Jan 1, 2027 you choose a plan and continue — your data stays. Annual billing from then on includes 2 months free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can close your clinic: first export your data (ZIP), then a short grace period, then permanent deletion. Details are in privacy settings.
Security and data
Where it lives and who sees it
Where is data stored?
On EU servers (Supabase EU). Data stays in the EU, closer to you and aligned with regulations.
Who can see my clinic’s data?
Only users in your clinic, according to their roles. Other clinics cannot see your rows — Row Level Security on every record.
How does backup work?
We run daily backups. You can also export your data (ZIP) from privacy settings whenever you need.
How do I delete patient data?
GDPR erasure requires clinic owner approval. The flow is in privacy settings — a hard delete from the database once approved.
Can I export all my data?
Yes. The owner can download a ZIP export (patients, invoices, document metadata) from privacy settings.

Does it work on phone/tablet?
Yes. DentOrd is fully responsive — it works in the browser on phone, tablet and desktop.
How many users can I add?
It depends on the plan. Starter up to 3, Professional up to 10, Premium AI up to 20; Enterprise by agreement. During the free period you get Professional limits.
Can I have two locations?
Yes, depending on the plan. Professional supports up to 2 locations; higher plans more. During the free period Professional limits apply.
How do I invite a doctor or reception?
The owner sends an invite by email from user settings. Your colleague sets a password and joins. Plan limits are checked before the invite is sent.
